I have updated my archives with all of my other blog posts from all of my other sites. It was bothering me that everything was spread out across xanga and myspace and here. I read through some of them as I did it, and was tempted to edit a post here and there, or even omit a post, but I felt that would be cheating.
(I did omit survey posts, because I feel like they are against the spirit of what I wanted this particular blog to be about. I mean they are so explicit, and I think I would want anyone reading this blog that doesn't already know me, to get there by less obvious means.)
So feel free to browse the archives, though do so at your own risk. When I first started blogging, the posts were essentially "Here's what I did today..." and very, very boring, and quite frankly, inane. I don't want to say it's gotten better, because everyone has their own style of blogging, and if that's yours, more power to you. But I think I started to get comfortable with the medium about December, and there are some really good posts then, not the least of which are my series about my Top 10 Books (that I read, not that were published) of 2004. So if you are remotely interested, I would start in December. (Though the September post about Kobe...man, I was feeling some feelings about that whole thing.)
Which brings me to this idea that this, interestingly enough, has really become a great tool for gauging some reasonable amount of change. For example, I was reading about the process that I went through to decide to go to law school. It was, by comparison I am sure, a pretty rash decision. In one post I am debating on whether to go to graduate school or law school, and in the next, I've taken the LSAT and am deciding where I want to go to law school (funny, I am still thinking about that one). But the entire process is documented, and for someone that has never been able to keep a journal in his life, this is a fascinating record of this time.
Moving on...
If you have not taken the time, I highly recommend checking out Judith's blog. Her most recent post really left me speechless.

And while I am pimpin' blogs, my brother, who doesn't update often, and by "often" I mean "ever", has posted a blog about digital clocks and analog clocks. He makes a pretty strong case though it is pretty funny, but in a "cuckoo for cocoa puffs" funny.
Digital vs. Analog.
And be sure to check out the others on the right as well.
